Introducing Season One: Life on Your Terms

We’re not meant to accept what’s handed to us. Progress only happens when assumptions are questioned, when standards are challenged, and when complacency is refused. When innovation stalls, everything starts to look the same.

Silk Road exists to push against that status quo, to challenge what riding gear is, how it looks, and how it fits into everyday life.

Inspired by a group of friends travelling across Asia, Silk Road began with a simple frustration: protective gear felt bulky, uninspired, and disconnected from the way we actually live and ride.

We wanted equipment that could keep pace with movement—between cities, countries, and moments—without sacrificing safety or personal style. Gear for people who don’t stand still.

Launches Monday 14th September, 7pm GMT

What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.

Built from the ground up, every decision was an opportunity to rethink convention. Influenced by the durability of workwear—reinforced seams, functional cuts, materials that wear in rather than wear out.

We partnered with D3O®, Kevlar®, and Cordura® to create lighter, stronger, and more discreet protection. Anything unnecessary was stripped away: excess branding, outdated fabrics, added weight.

What remained was a refined, modern system built for endurance and performance.

This collection began as a mission to make five jackets, purpose-built for friends who wanted their style to work on and off the bike.

That intention defines every decision we made, but along the road we found other riders who wanted to join the Silk Road Journey.

Designed to transition seamlessly beyond the ride, subtle enough to blend in anywhere, and uncompromising in protection and comfort. Because the journey doesn’t stop when the ride ends—and neither should what you’re wearing.

This is an invitation to choose a life that’s yours.

To question what’s expected, define your own pace, and challenge authority where it no longer serves you. Progress doesn’t come from waiting for permission—it comes from movement, curiosity, and the people willing to build something better together.

There is no fixed path, no single way forward. Only what we choose to make of it. And together, there’s nothing we can’t build.
